Harriet the Spy: Blog Wars is based on the popular children’s novel Harriet the Spy written by Louise Fitzhugh way back in 1964. Disney created some contemporary twist on the movie to bring the characters into 2010 instead of the 1960’s which it was created.

On the movie, Harriet Welch competes against her arch enemy, popular and mean student Marion Hawthorne, in a month-long blogging war to win the support of her classmates to get the coveted position as the official blogger of her high school class.

Starring in the movie are Jennifer Stone (Harper of Wizards of Waverly Place) as Harriet Welsch, Kristin Booth as as Golly, Alexander Conti as Sport, Melinda Shankar as Janie, Wesley Morgan as Skander Hill, Doug Murray as Roger Welsch, Shauna MacDonald as Violetta Welsch, Vanessa Morgan as Marion Hawthorne, Kiana Madeira as Rachel and Aislinn Paul as Beth Ellen.
